Do I have any obligations as a visitor?

None at all. We're delighted to have you come and spend your Sunday with us. You are welcome to participate in the Lord's Supper (Communion) if it's offered the Sunday you visit. The Lord's Supper is offered to the whole congregation without qualification and is observed by followers of Jesus regardless of regular church attendance or denomination.

When you visit, please let us know that you were here. Stop by the Welcome Center to receive a gift and a free cup of coffee in our cafe. We'll be glad to tell you more about our ministries and groups if you want to become more involved.

What about safety and security?

Bear Valley Church has a highly trained and experienced security team which exists to keep everybody safe who come to BVC. The security team has extra focus on making sure that all children and students are safe. Our check-in procedure for all children's activities also helps keep all children safe. A computerized registration procedure requires parents to register their children up to 6th grade to make sure all children are released to the right parents.

Can I receive prayer?

Absolutely! We love to pray for people. We believe God still heals today. If you need to be healed physically, emotionally, or spiritually, our Prayer Room is open after each of the three services and is staffed by trained prayer volunteers who will walk with you into the presence of the Holy Spirit and pray for His healing power to come into your life. You are also welcome to fill out the welcome card located in the church pews. Our staff and other committed prayer partners will pray for your needs throughout the week.
