What to Expect

NEW TO BEAR VALLEY CHURCH

Welcome to Bear Valley Church! At BVC we are “climbing together” in the Christian experience, but with so many people to meet and so many arenas of church life to explore, knowing where to start can be a real challenge. Every climb begins with that first step. The following are some ‘steps’ you can take as you begin your journey with us here at Bear Valley Church.

STEP ONE
Join us on a Sunday morning. Enjoy contemporary, heart-felt, Jesus-centered worship at 8:00 am, 9:30 am and 11:00 am on Sunday mornings. Come as you are and make yourself at home. Stop by the Welcome Center, receive a FREE GIFT, get more information about our various ministries, and then enjoy a complimentary coffee of your choice in the Gathering Place.

Priority Parking is available for first time guests in the upper parking lot located just off Jewell Ave.

If you are coming with your family, allow some additional time to check your children into the Children’s Ministry area located on the ground level of our facilities. Infant care is available, as well as programs and classes for toddlers, kids and youth. State of the art security is in place for your peace of mind as your children become a part of the BVC community.

Our Prayer Room is available after each service where caring BVC members will pray with you for as long as you desire.

STEP TWO
We invite you to explore a Sunday Morning Community group, class or small group to make new friends and develop a close connection with your Bear Valley family. Click on the Connect icon for more information.

STEP THREE
Once you've settled in, we encourage you to discover and use your spiritual gifts for service in what we already have going on or to develop something new. There are outreach possibilities close to home or you can be more adventurous - secure a passport and take off for another country for a short-term or long-term mission.

STEP FOUR
Become a Member.
Attend COMPASS 101 Membership Class to get all the information you need to make an informed decision about becoming a member of BVC. This one-time class allows you to explore BVC’s unique mission, ministry vision, leadership model and more. Please join us for a COMPASS 101 class if you are considering membership or simply want to learn more about us. Click here for a 2014 COMPASS 101 schedule.
