Hines Ugandan Ministries is meeting the spiritual, physical and educational needs of impoverished
children and widows in rural Uganda through AWANA clubs, sponsorship, Genesis Primary School and Holmes Medical Clinic.
Katherine Hines founded Hines Ugandan Ministries (HUM) in the village of Kamonkoli nearly 20 years ago in partnership with the local Kamonkoli Church and Bear Valley Church. Through these partnerships and support from many Bear Valley Church members, this ministry has grown from a handful of children in child sponsorship to over 300 sponsored children today. As part of the sponsorship program, Hines Ugandan Ministries is providing services through: Genesis Primary School, Holmes Medical Clinic, Kamonkoli Kraft Center, AWANA Club, and the Bear Valley Orphanage.
The mission of Hines Ugandan Ministries is to train and equip the children to be future servant leaders and overcomers for the kingdom of God.
