By God's sheer grace, New Life in Christ Church has been serving--and is almost entirely comprised--of the inner-city minority poor for 47 years. After decades in North Denver, the Lord used Bear Valley Church's Pastors, Howard Waller and Jim Walters, to broker us into First Baptist Church of Lakewood. FBC's neighborhood had a greater concentration of poor without the looming specter of redevelopment. We are a mission church with the goal of turning the work over to our target demographic--and with the Lord's help we are doing it!
