Terry and Trudy Thomson have been welcoming international students at the Colorado School of Mines for the past 33 years. Coming to the "States" can sometimes be a strange and challenging experience. The Thomson's, along with their daughter, Teah, desire is to assist international students and their families in ways that hopefully make their stay easier, more enjoyable and enriched. The means to building relationships stems from holding English classes, giving away furniture and household items for free, providing cultural activities hosted by God's people, and offering spiritual events. Out of these activities, relationships form, opportunities to share about God come naturally, and life-long friendships develop. Together with God's people from area churches, internationals and their families from over 70 countries can hear about Jesus!
